What is JAVA?

Java is a high-level programming language that is developed by Sun Microsystems in 1995. It is an object-oriented language the main reason for inventing java is its oops concept. Unlike many programming languages like c and c++, java is a platform-independent language. Java is a case-sensitive language.

Why we should use Java?

We should use java because it is platform friendly means it works on different platforms like Windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi, etc. It is an open-source language. Java is very easy to learn and simple to use. It is a fast, secure, and powerful programming language. Java is one of the most popular programming languages in the world.

What are the applications of Java?

Now in current time java uses in many different area like Standalone Application, web applications, Enterprise Application and mobile applications.

How the market is going for Java?

So after researching many sources, I found that java is not going anywhere. Yes, many applications are moving to other languages like for machine learning many peoples are using R and Python. But is true that Java has lost its earlier dominating position in the market but still, it’s useful to learn!! According to the news, there are few observations:

  • Android: Earlier Java was the official language for Android but now it is about to get replaced by kotlin.
  • Web development: Once it was difficult to believe that the web without Java but now it is almost being replaced by python.
  • Machine learning: Java also had its dominance over machine learning but now it is being replaced by Scala

But all big organizations are still sticking with Java and coders can’t live without java. We also know that java is more secure than Python and other languages that’s why banking and airline software preferring java more than other languages.
